Ross Payn
BSc (Hons) Ost London
Registered Osteopath NZRO
Registered ACC Treatment Provider.

I trained at the UK's leading osteopathic college The British School of Osteopathy graduating in 2000. Through this education I gained a strong grounding in clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis. This means as a primary health worker I am qualified to assess, diagnose and treat your condition. Should something more serious be suspected I can refer you for X-Ray, Ultrasound imaging or to the appropriate practitioner, .

Over the last 20 years I have developed my private practice as well as spending 6 years lecturing on the Master of Osteopathy course at Unitec, progressing to the role of external examiner.
For the last 12 years I have undertaken post graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy. I have also developed a strong yoga practice which has supported and enhanced my knowledge of posture and exercise.
I have had extensive experience treating a variety of conditions : from helping in rehabilitation after severe spinal injury, sports injury, to the more day to day aches and sprains of every day life. I also work with clients through their pregnancy and after birth, and provide treatment for babies and children.

I fell in love with the Matakana Coast and moved here 10 years ago. I began working from my home in Matheson's Bay initially and more recently from BodyRe in Matakana.

I am a registered ACC treatment provider. There is no need for you to visit your GP first, we can complete all necessary paper work during your consultation.

Registered ACC Treatment Provider.
Joss completed her studies for an M.Ost at Unitec, Auckland in 2003.
She worked in private practice in Mt Eden, Grey Lynn, and Devonport then took a hiatus to focus her energies into raising her family.
Joss’ practice is hands-on and fluid in style; structural or cranial to suit your body’s energy and needs, and she works on a treatment protocol encouraging your body to respond and restore to its best performance.
Joss advocates and practices yoga, and considers it strongly aligned with the applied energy, breath and movement work used in Osteopathy.
Her life alongside Osteopathy includes a prior B.Sc. in Environmental Science, a CLM ( Sea Captain’s licence), world adventures sailing the seven seas, and two fantastic kids.
When at play Joss can usually be found with family and friends, actively on or in the water, sailing, diving, fishing, swimming or paddling.
Joss is very excited to return to osteopathic practice, and delighted to join Ross at The Osteopaths in Matakana.

Come for a visit and get to know Joss, and the benefits of osteopathy.

If you have an injury we can handle your ACC claim without the need to visit your doctor.
